Community Colleges Choose ETemplate’s Digital Measuring and Templating System for its Countertop and Woodworking Curriculum

Raleigh, NC – ETemplate Systems is proud to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), Des Moines, Iowa, and Salt Lake Community College, Salt Lake City, Utah, to provide the ETemplate Photo Digital Measuring system for use in their woodworker and countertop fabrication training curriculum.

“We are proud to partner with these schools in providing their classrooms with the most advanced digital measuring technology available today.  ETemplate is prevalent in woodworking and countertop businesses all across America and it is a great service to the business community to have schools such as these who quickly step up to offer convenient training options for an essential production tool. ETemplate has rapidly developed into a mainstream product for the construction industry and we welcome the opportunity to work with any school that sees a need to incorporate digital measuring technology into their curriculum.  We look forward to hearing from them.” states Paul Hansen, the company’s President.

ETemplate is the pioneer and industry leader in digital field measuring.  Its highly advanced 3-D measuring system provides a means to collect extremely accurate measurements based on the way a structure is actually built.  Measuring complex curves and angles are made simple.

For example, ETemplate will create an accurately detailed wall scribe for determining placement and dimensioning of custom designed fixtures to a room. Three-dimensional measuring for wall cladding enables accurate pre-cutting in the shop for outlets and openings.  Curved stairs with a helical rail presents complex calculations that ETemplate measures as simply as any other job.  It measures with dead-on accuracy and enables CAD plans, ready for production whether fabricating by hand or CNC router.

The ETemplate system is ideal for all kinds of construction measuring and templating and its automatic processes make it simple to use.  It is not limited by tripods, range, reach, or line-of-sight. ETemplate Photo was first introduced in March 2001 and is now in its 10th upgrade.

ETemplate Systems is a member of the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association (ISSFA) and recipient of the 2005 ISSFA Associate of the Year Award.  It is also a member of the American Woodworkers Institute (AWI) and the recipient of the IWF 2006 Challenger Award.  The company is located in Raleigh, NC.  For more information call (919)676-2244, visit the website at www.etemplatesystem.com or email info@etemplatesystem.com.
