An innovative clamping method has been developed by The Pinske Edge to solve a common fabrication problem associated with v-grooving and cove backsplash corners. “We needed an easy, fast, and consistent way to hold our v-grooved tops together while the adhesive dried,” said Ryan Lemke, fabrication manager at The Pinske Edge. “We had been stretching tape across to hold the edges, but we didn’t have a constant on how tightly the tape was pulled. The new Edge Clamps pull together easily and the new Corner Clamps work great for tightly gathering the corners. It’s less costly and very consistent. The result is a great seam!” Attendees, of the upcoming International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta, can see these new Edge & Corner Clamps at Pinske Edge Booth # 4300. The show runs August 20 – 23, from 8 am to 6 pm. Lead time is currently 2 weeks from receipt of order. Corner Clamps (Product # 401) are $15.95 and Edge Clamp Set (Product #402) is $11.95. A kit of 18 (6 corners and 12 edge sets – Product # 400) are $179.95. To place an order or obtain more information, contact The Pinske Edge.
