During the Summer of 2007, a new resource became available for fabricators, builders, remodelers, and everyday craftsman.  SolidSurface.com is a new source for discount solid surface material and related solid surface products.  Products offered on the website include the only online inventory of b-grade, overstocked, and discontinued material from leading solid surface manufacturers such as Aristech Acrylic Avonite, Wilsonart Gibraltar, and others.   The website also offers a growing number of surplus sheets of all sizes (including Corian®, Gibraltar, Avonite, Hi-Macs, Formica, Staron and Meganite) collected from fabricators’ excess supply from around the country.  This frees up space in fabricator shops, and provides additional return on their original investment.  The environmental benefits of repurposing b-grade, overstocked, discontinued, and surplus sheets are indisputable.

SolidSurface.com began as SolidSurfaceSurplus.com in Summer of 2006.  It was originally developed as a place for fabricators to post their surplus sheet material on the web, but quickly evolved from there.  In late Summer 2007, the website blossomed and was transformed into SolidSurface.com.  The company has proudly developed partnerships with leading manufacturers and distributors to help liquidate their b-grade, discontinued, and overstocked material as well as establishing relationships with fabricators around the country to help clear out their surplus inventories.
