ISSFA is pleased to announce that Zary South has been selected to become the Manager of Membership and Member Service. “Zary is a welcome and exciting addition to Team ISSFA,” says Robert Oxley, ISSFA Executive Director. “He ‘gets it’ when it comes to the fact that we exist to serve the members and mission of ISSFA. Plus, he has a unique background in electronics, technology, business ownership and serving customers.
For some time now we at ISSFA have felt the increasing need to expand upon the Business Journal and publish a full-fledged magazine more applicable and useful to our solid surface and quartz fabricator member base. The desire for a publication that would more directly meet their needs was communicated to us... and we listened!
At the 2007 Regional Meeting in Houston, Robert Oxley, ISSFA’s Executive Director announced, “The ISSFA Board of Directors, in a brilliant act of benevolence, has voted to pay 50% of each member’s registration fees for the association’s educational programs in order to help members succeed in business during these declining economic times. The Economic Relief Initiative is not a discount or marketing scheme.”
GE Money's Sales Finance unit and ISSFA, today announced a new five-year relationship to provide private label revolving and installment credit options through GE's PROJECTLINESM and PROJECTLOANSM programs.
ISSFA’s very own Regional Meeting is the industry’s can’t miss event. This year will be packed with two full days of shop tours, educational events and social gatherings, creating fabricator to fabricator opportunities that go unmatched. Join us for a solid surface and quartz opportunity of a lifetime!
The International Solid Surface Fabricators Association would now like to introduce the 2007 ISSFA Code Of Ethics. Each member will now be able to login and access the downloadable PDF of The Code Of Ethics Certificate. Print it out and display proudly on your company's showroom, wall, and the fabrication shop.
It was a relaxing evening of fabricators networking with fabricators and their suppliers at ISSFA headquarters. Approximately one hundred ISSFA members and guests, who were in Las Vegas attending the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show, came together at the “Free Barbeque, Beer & Soda Open House."
On graduation day, Thursday, January 11th, 2007 the International Solid Surface Fabricator’s Association (ISSFA) celebrated the training of its 1,000th student. Shown in the photo is the Director of Education and Training, Bill Wolle presenting the 1,000th certificate to Bob Pace, of South County Construction in Pendleton, Oregon.
