Wilsonart Solid Surface Program Moves Forward

Wilsonart International executives reinforced the company’s commitment to the Solid Surface market at the annual distributor meeting in Dallas, July 14.
Bill DiGaetano, President of Wilsonart North America, reported that the Wilsonart Solid Surface program is an integral part of Wilsonart’s evolution into a surfacing solutions provider to both residential and commercial markets.

According to Wilsonart Solid Surface General Manager Jerry Samu, “Wilsonart has focused its business and marketing resources on new initiatives that will carry the Wilsonart® Solid Surface program well into the next decade. We will support our valued customers with even stronger color, designs and programs moving forward.”

Distributors were previewed on new design options sourced from Wilsonart’s manufacturing partner, Hanwha L & C Corporation, based in Seoul, Korea. Wilsonart and Hanwha have worked together since 2004. Recent market successes have included the addition of the “Sonata Series” to the Wilsonart product offering.

“Our partners at Hanwha have demonstrated a real commitment to color development and innovation in the solid surface industry,” says Samu. He further reported that, “architects and designers can look forward to more exciting news on the design front thanks to our relationship.”

Bae In Soo, Vice President Hanwha Corporation L & C reaffirmed their commitment with Wilsonart by stating that “we value our relationship with Wilsonart and look forward to the future together.”
